The Learning and Artificial Neural Networks AYRNA (TIC-148 of the "Junta de Andalucía") research group was founded in 1994 by a small investigators group interested in the field of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). During the last years, the group has diversified its interest areas working in the resoluiton of different problems through soft computing (artificial neural networks, evolutive algorithms and other meta-heuristics) techniques. Actually, the group consists of 11 doctoral researchers and 5 non doctoral, being Dr. César Hervás Martínez the main researcher of the group.
