The research group Aprendizaje Y Redes Neuronales Artificiales AYRNA (reference number TIC-148 of Junta of Andalucía) was created in 1994 by a small group of researchers interested in the field of Artificial Neural Networks. In the last years, the group has diversified its area of interest, working in the solution of different problems by means of "Soft Computing" techniques: arfiticial neural networks, evolutionary algorithms and other meta-heuristics. Nowadays, the group is constituted by 9 Ph. D. and 8 Ph. D. students.
