IntroducciónLa Biblioteca de la Fundación Castilla del Pino comienza su andadura en 1993, al constituirse la Fundación, estando situada en la actualidad en la 5ª planta del Hospital Los Morales de Córdoba. Inicialmente disponía de una reducida colección, que se vio incrementada tras la muerte de Carlos Castilla del Pino en 2009 y recibir en donación parte de su biblioteca personal, constituida por un conjunto bibliográfico de carácter misceláneo, en el que predominan la Psicología y la Psiquiatría. En la actualidad la Biblioteca consta de un fondo bibliográfico constituido por 3304 monografías y 105 publicaciones periódicas, de una sección con material y anotaciones utilizados por Carlos Castilla del Pino, y de una colección histórica de test de psiquiatría. En el año 2010 la Fundación y la Universidad de Córdoba suscriben un convenio de colaboración para el desarrollo de los servicios bibliotecarios de aquélla. En virtud del mismo se ha realizado la catalogación automatizada del fondo para facilitar su consulta y se ha renovado su página web como paso previo a la incorporación de nuevos servicios digitales.
