Se retoman las sesiones del AULA PRÁCTICA DE INGLÉS en Ucoidiomas, con charlas impartidas por un especialista invitado, tras la cual hay un turno de diálogo en el que los participantes pueden intervenir poniendo en práctica sus conocimientos de inglés, principalmente la expresión y comprensión orales.
La asistencia es gratuita y se recomienda tener un nivel B1 o superior para un óptimo aprovechamiento de la actividad.

Topic: "A brief history of women in sport"
Gender equality is a modern topic concerning an enormous amount of fields, linked into many contemporary debates: equal pay, equal rights, and equal presence in the work place and in society. It is about giving any human being, no matter their gender, the same opportunities, the same rights, the same start in life. Women have fought throughout history to be recognized as mens' equals and to show that being a women does not make them weaker, less intelligent, less capable. This is also true in sport, where women were denied participation until the last few centuries.
In this presentation we will discuss the key moments of women's emancipation in sport and finish by reviewing today's female participation in what can be thought of as the most masculine sport there is, rugby.
