Registration Site

Registration will be at the Faculty of Medicine (Avda. Menendez Pidal s/n, 14071-Cordoba), which is at the same street than "Colegios Mayores" (the Student Residence, where most of the participants are lodged). On he first day, September 5, registration will be open from 17:00 to 18:30 h. On September 6 and 7, registration will be from 9:00 to 13:30 h.

Dear Colleague,

The 1st Basic Course for Postgraduates sponsored by the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) will be held at the University of Córdoba, Córdoba, Spain, from September 5th to 7th, 2006.

The main goal of the Course is to provide an ample and in-depth perspective of basic research in Endocrinology across Europe and to promote the understanding and investigation on the cellular and molecular processes underlying the normal and pathological functioning of endocrine glands.

To this end, leading researchers in the different fields of Endocrinology will present state-of-the-art conferences on selected topics and, through interactive discussions, will offer their expertise on how to approach and solve current, exciting issues in Endocrinology.

Course sessions will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Córdoba. The venue of the Course will be in nearby “Colegio Mayor Nuestra Señora de la Asunción”, where accommodation and meals will be provided.

We would like to invite young and experienced endocrinologists with interest in developing basic approaches to clinical and basic endocrine research to update their knowledge, by attending this course in one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Europe, Córdoba, a modern treasure recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage.

Registration and course participation

Course will cost 250.00 EUR (including Course handout, one meal per day and coffee breaks, Welcome & Farewell Event). Registration details and forms can be found here.
 

Some Scholarships and Travel Support will be available depending on sponsoring support (please apply with form).
 

Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided in nearby “Colegio Mayor Nuestra Señora de la Asunción”. Affordable quality rooms (22.50-35.00 € per night, per person) and facilities of the “Colegio Mayor” are at walking distance from downtown Córdoba.
