The goal in this project is to study the use of the NFC technology like a way for the development of applications those are offered in the university environment in order to grow the services in the university and to improve the quality of them, and also to grow and to improve the information obtained in the university environment and offered to its members.

In this project, the services and application are oriented to teaching services and applications in order to improve the teaching quality and its adaptation to the new university teaching model.

The improvement of the university quality is affected by many factors: from infrastructures, staff, methodologies and teaching techniques, etc. The improvement of these aspects depend of various factors, like the possibility to obtain information quickly and safely, at any place and at any moment, and the satisfaction of the university environment, which can be improve offering useful services.

In the next years, it does not be enough the universities have a great web site for offering information and doing some services. The mobile technologies implantation is providing that the users need these services using the technology.

In other way, the improvement of the teaching quality is meaning a great effort to the teachers for adapting the contents, programming, user monitoring, etc. The University of Cordoba, every year have new studies and degrees to the new teaching model, in order to obtain experience and information that make possible implanting the new model in a future. The student, with the new model, is continuously receiving information (actually via web site, Moodle, e-mails lists, etc) that makes possible doing the activities in the ECTS model.

Both the information and the services are two important aspects those will determinate the efficacy of the change process and the improvement of the teaching quality, and, in this way, the mobile technology and NFC can be applied.
