Department of Physics teaches in eight degrees of  University of Cordoba: Degrees in Physics, in Chemistry, in Bichemistry and in Enviromental Sciences in Faculty of Sciences, Degree in Veterinary Medicine and in Foods Sciences and Technology in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Degrees in Civil Engineering and in Engineering of Energy Resources and Mining in School of Engineering Sciences of Belmez. The Departament also participates in several Maters and Doctoral programmes.

This Department is currently composed of twenty-three professors, an Administrative Assistant, an Assistant Laboratory Technician and a Laboratory Specialist Technician
