JFCS: A Color Modeling Java Software based on Fuzzy Color Spaces

This website presents an open source software for modeling colors on the basis of fuzzy color spaces which able to fill the semantic gap between the color representation in computers and the subjective human perception. Demonstration videos of the use of the software can be viewed and a common repository of fuzzy color spaces adequate to different contexts from different users is also included. Furthermore, data from an experiment with 30 users in the task of defining customized fuzzy color spaces in the context of color terms associated to fruits is incorporated.
