Privacy Statement

As a fully open access journal, Littera Aperta makes all its content freely available to the reader without charge nor need of registration. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Reader registration is only advisable, not required. User registration online is required only for specific users: editors, contributing authors, and reviewers. In any case, for all the registered users the journal has a proper Privacy Policy in place and abides by Data Protection rules. This Privacy Policy includes the following statements:

• Registered user data will never be distributed without the explicit permission of the user.
• Upon request, a user's email address will be removed from mailing lists.
• All data held about the user will be made available to the user upon request.
• The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
