Description

This Spanish version was the first accepted by the novelist himself, despite his earlier assumption that the novel was "untranslatable". In their introduction the translators offer details about Hoban's contribution to postmodern literarture and the intricacies of Riddley Walker's apocaliptic use of language. This Spanish edition was granted the 2005 Translation Award by AEDEAN (Asociación Española de Estudios Anglo-norteamericanos).
