Cristobal Romero is (associate) Professor of Computer Sciences and Numerical Analysis department in University of Cordoba. His teaching is devoted to computer programming, artificial intelligence, networks in computer science engineering. His research labor is developed as a member of the "Knowledge Discovery and Intelligent Systems" (KDIS) research group, and it is focused on applying data mining in e-learning systems.

He has published a great number of papers about Educational Data Mining in international journals and conferences, and several important surveys:
