LENGUAJES (HUM-224),a group funded by the Andalusian Research Plan (PAI in Spanish) that was set up in 1989 as TIEDPAAN.
Its research work is currently focusing on language studies, both verbal and non-verbal, according to three lines of research:
- Theory and methodological principles of Literature (Hermeneutics, Autobiography, Genre, Narratology). Comparative Literature (specially image and writing, cinema and literature)
- Learning and teaching of natural and formal languages (General linguistics, Semantics and Spanish Language Teaching)
- Art and Education (Image didactics)
