UCOidiomas and Makom Sefarad have created a deeply dynamic and creative summer program that combines, on the one hand, the learning of Spanish as a foreign language and, on the other, a unique experience enjoying the rich cultural diversity of Andalusia. The program is open to all those interested in learning Spanish as well as discovering the fascinating history of Jews, Christians and Muslims in the Spanish Middle Ages. An inclusive program open to people of any age, cultural background or religious belief.

No prior knowledge is required, just curiosity, the desire to meet new people and travel through some of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
Intensive Spanish course (8 contact hours) to learn in a communicative way the vocabulary and useful expressions so as to communicate with locals during your stay in Spain. No previous knowledge in Spanish is required.

Cultural Guided visits
Tours through Jewish quarter, Mosque-Cathedral, Sinagogue, Medinat Al-Zahara, Fortress of Christian Kings.
Kabalat Shabbat is the ceremony that welcomes the Jewish Sabbath. A joyous ceremony animated by ancient rituals and melodies loaded with meaning and spirituality. Rabbi Haim Casas will accompany us in this experience and will explain its history and symbolism. The service of Kabalat Shabat will be followed by a traditional dinner in which to celebrate joy and friendship in the heart of the Jewish quarter of Córdoba.
Post-program trips to Seville-Granada-Madrid-Toledo
The journey is as important as the destination, both transform us, after a trip our life is not the same.
The post-program trip is an essential part of the experience, and that’s why we want to offer you the rich diversity of culture and history of Spain. During five days we will visit the streets, museums and monuments of some of the most beautiful cities on the Iberian Peninsula: Seville, Granada, Toledo and Madrid. Each of these cities has contributed something unique to the Spanish cultural identity: Seville, the base from which the discovery of new countries and trade with the new world were orchestrated; Granada, capital of the Nasrid kingdom, the last Muslim kingdom of the peninsula; Toledo, city of the three cultures and capital of Imperial Spain; Madrid: capital of the Kingdom of Spain, European and cosmopolitan city.
Accommodation for all participants: Homestay & kosher style.
Price per student: 1600 EUR. It includes:
