  About me

Jaime Millán Santiago was born in Córdoba (Spain) in 1997. He studied Chemistry at University of Córdoba (Spain) from 2015 to 2019, joining the FQM-215 investigation group in 2017. From 2019 to 2020, he studied a master’s degree “Máster Interuniversitario en Química Aplicada por la Universidad de Córdoba, Universidad de Huelva, Universidad de Jaén y Universidad de Málaga”.

His Bachelor Thesis and Master Thesis were focused on the use of lignocellulosic materials in the determination of organic compounds by mass spectrometry.

Nowadays, he has started a doctoral thesis in Chemistry thanks to a pre-doctoral grant (FPU) from the Spanish Ministry of Education. His current studies consist of the modification of natural materials by direct analysis in microextraction.

He has participated in different scientific diffusion activities promoted by the Universidad de Córdoba, including: Paseo por la Ciencia, European Researchers’ Night and Jornadas de Introducción al Laboratorio.
