  About me

SALOUA HAMADI was born in ELKEF (Tunisia) in 1992. She studied chemistry at the University of Tunis ElManar (Tunisia), and joined the AS2P research group in 2020.

She finished her studies of the Professional Master in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the Higher Institute of Biotechnology by obtaining the Master’s degree in September 2018, During her university studies, she had the opportunity to benefit from a curriculum based on environmental risk assessment and remediation methods. An internship at Thyna Petroleum Service allowed her to understand the accident scenarios and diagnosis of prevention and mitigation barriers on the production site.

She studied a research master’s degree in Environmental Public Health in the faculty of medicine of Sfax (Tunisia) from 2018 to 2019. She wishes to specialize more in the evaluation and management of health risks. Her objectives are to understand the principles and foundations of health-environment interventions and master the methods and tools necessary to assess the impact of the environment on human health.

Today Salou is completing her doctoral studies in Chemistry as part of a joint supervision thesis between the University of Cordoba and the University of Tunis ElManar. The topic of the thesis is focused on the potential of composite materials in analytical sample preparation.
