Within environmental economics and policy, Anastasio focuses on the analysis of public goods and externalities produced by agricultural systems. Particular research interests include the analysis of farmers’ preferences towards environmental policy, the sustainability of agricultural systems (especially irrigated and olive grove systems), and the use of integrated approaches to the analysis of the joint provision of private and public goods by agriculture.
