Born in Utrera, Seville (1980), I obtained my PhD/Doctorate in Economy and Sustainability of Water at the University of Pablo de Olavide, Seville (Spain) and my Degree in Economics at the University of Seville (Spain).
Nowadays, I am a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics III at the University of Seville (Spain).

Research Interests

My research focuses on water and agricultural economics as a whole, with an emphasis in the following main research lines:

  • Economic analysis of water uses.
  • Cost recovery of water services.
  • Cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Sustainable water management
  • Economic, social and policy issues in agricultural sector.
