VERIFICA

Updated 12/04/2013

The VERIFICA programme evaluates curricular proposals for degrees designed in accordance with the European Higher Education Area. This section includes a report of the verification of the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education. These new degrees prepare students to become early childhood or primary education teachers. The need for such degree programmes is justified on the basis of their social relevance and the academic, scientific and professional interest linked to the unquestionable importance of the school in the social and cultural sphere. The degrees that enable students to practise the teaching profession include, among others, the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education, each of which has a total course load of 240 ECTS credits spread over four years of study.
