Psychology, Society & Education publishes manuscripts of both basic and applied research, as well as systematic reviews and meta-analyses, which are supported by solid and consolidated data, analysis and arguments. Important: Although papers may be submitted in English or Spanish. If the original manuscript is submitted in Spanish and accepted, it must be translated into English (mandatory for manuscripts received after November 2022) and uploaded, in word format, to the journal's website. Regarding the English translation, any possible cost of the translation will be paid by the author(s).

Rules for the submission of originals

  1. 1. Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's website in the section authors > submission originals. To do so, authors must register on the journal's platform or, if they are already registered, they can simply log in and begin the five-step process.
  2. 2. The works must be originals and unpublished. Not admitted are works that have been totally or partially published, or those that are in the process of being published by, or have been submitted simultaneously to another journal for evaluation.
  3. 3. Metadata: name and surname should be indicated (according to how authors want to be cited, in the case of indicating both surnames it is suggested to join with a hyphen), the affiliation (institution, city and country), and the persistent identifier ORCID of all the auotres. As well as if there is a source of funding.
  4. 4. The letter to the editor should indicate the degree of contribution of each author signing the paper (according to CrediT taxonomy). In addition, all authors must agree with the version presented and disclose any possible conflicts of interest.
  5. 5. In the event that the authors use other materials, the sources must be properly cited, being the responsibility of the authors to obtain the pertinent permissions for the reproduction of material protected by copyright.
  6. 6. In order to ensure compliance with the "double-blind" peer review policy, manuscripts should not contain information that would allow the authors to be identified either in the body of the text or in the document properties (follow indications in the case of Word format).
  7. 7. Authors must ensure the use of inclusive and non-sexist language. Making a correct use of the terms "gender" and "sex" (a review of the journal's publication guidelines is recommended).
  8. 8. The activities described in the published papers must follow the rules of the journal's code of ethics.
  9. 9. It is the authors' responsibility to provide interested readers with copies of the raw data, procedural manuals, scores, and, in general, relevant experimental material.
  10. 11.If an article is accepted for publication, authors must sign an agreement assigning the economic copyright of the work to the journal. Moreover, all works published in the journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 license (clik here for more information).

Authors are advised to review the journal's publication guidelines. All papers must follow the format and attach the documents and information described in it in order to begin the process of evaluation and review by the editorial team.
