Welcome to the department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Córdoba.
The department has a long and notable tradition of teaching and research in agricultural economics and rural development in the High Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering, and since the setting up of the Degree in Business Administration and Management at the Law Faculty, also in the field of finance and accounting. The main goal of the Department is to coordinate teaching and research in both areas of knowledge, the area of Economics, Sociology and Agricultural Politics and the area of Financial Economics and Accounting.
At this time, department members teach a list of subjects in 8 undergraduate degrees and 6 postgraduate degrees in Agricultural and Forestry Engineering, Oenology, Food Science and Technology, Business Administration and Management, Tourism and Labour Studies. The Department members also participate in the doctoral program in Rural Development.
The department members' research is performed in the framework of two research teams recognized by the Government of Andalusia. These teams work together with other researchers and agencies.
