The HUGS project is funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network. The project consists of five beneficiaries including SME Avantium Chemicals, selected as one of the Global Cleantech top 100 companies in 2017, and the Universities of Nice (CNRS), Cordoba (UCORDOBA), Leibniz Institute für Katalyse (LIKAT)/Rostock and the Institut National de l'EnviRonnement Industriel et des risqueS (INERIS)/Université de Reims (SEBIO joint Research Unit); all leaders in their respective fields.
