Ph.D. Programme

The UCO Doctoral Program in “Languages and Cultures” offers a Doctoral Degree (Doctor of Philosophy, PhD) in eight areas of study. The area of study called “Literatures in English” is offered in collaboration with our Research Group. We welcome post-graduate students willing to work for PhDs in the above-mentioned area of study, which covers all literary expressions in English from the early modern period down to the present moment, with a specific focus on our main areas of research. Access to the doctoral program is regulated and granted by the IDEP (Instituto de Estudios de Posgrado). All prospective students aiming to obtain a PhD degree should know that there is a requisite number of credits of Research Course work they must earn before applying for the inscription of their PhD doctoral dissertation.
