The present project aims to accommodate different medical monitoring equipment in order to remove its wiring, transmit real-time information and analysis in real time. Also several devices can be managed remotely by the server, for example to increase the sampling frequency, change the configuration of the device, activating and deactivating sensors, etc., with consequent reduction in workload increase productivity; and they also prevent discomfort to patients.

Under the project of Professor Olivares “Cognitive Radio with medium reservation in hospital environments”, stays members of the Department of Computer Architecture, Electronics and Electronic Technology UCO at Oslo University Hospital will be made, and Group staff research in Biomedical Sensor Networks Intervention Center of the hospital at UCO.

Through the exchange of researchers, it will enable the UCO research group contribution to the Norwegian institution experience in the field of wireless communications, through the application of technical communication based on intelligent wireless cognitive radio (CR). Moreover, researchers can conduct experiments UCO one of the most leading hospitals worldwide, acquiring knowledge about the application of these techniques to their own technologies of Oslo Research Hospital.
