About the Project

Malaga SmartCity aims to accomplish the European directives regarding the usage of renewable energies and Smart Grids. The main objectives of the project are:

• Installation, maintenance and control of renewable energy sources.
• Automated readings of Smart Meters, avoiding the estimation in the electrical bill and improving the service for the end-user
• Change the consumers' behavior by providing them online data about their consumption, tariffs and the environmental impact.
• Study of EVs and the possibility of using them as energy storage systems for the future Smart Grid.
