We have two open positions for PhDs (1 CNRS 1 CEA) around the issue of onic conduction within carbon nanotube (CNT) membranes (see attached, one side is in English). They are both already granted, we now just need to find good candidates.
As you will see, we are looking for talented and motivated chemical-physicists. - the CNRS position is oriented on chemistry : synthesis and grafting of polymers, characterization of the morphology of the CNT membrane (AFM, raman, TEM, SEM, RMN). The PhD student will be located in Marseille (ICR) for ~12 month and then in Grenoble (CEA / SyMMES) - the CEA position is oriented on physics : CNT synthesis, confinement of électrolytes, multi-scale transport properties (neutron scattering, NMR, electrochemistry). The PhD student will be located in Grenoble, CEA / Liten.
