Spanish language and culture program

These two-week program is designed for adult students who wish to improve their knowledge of the Spanish language and culture (history, traditions, art, society and customs ) in a short period of time. The teaching has a communicative approach, so students will reinforce the use of language through extensive communicative exercises in speaking in daily life situations.

Besides Spanish Language, the program includes Culture (History, Art, Cinema and Spanish traditions), and also a complete program of cultural activities such as visits to interesting places focusing on the wealth of Spanish cultural heritage.

Why Cordoba?

The Spanish city of Cordoba, the third largest in Andalusia, is immersed in history, and boast a wealth of cultural and monumental heritage bequeathed by the different civilizations that have settled there. A wander through its streets is a tour of history in the footsteps of the Romans, Arabs, Jews and Christians which over the centuries formed this melting pot of cultures which Cordoba today offer visitors.

Nowadays the city is admired for its architectural monuments, mainly the Great Mosque-Cathedral, considered to be the most important Islamic monument built in the West. Thanks to its cultural and monumental legacy, it was designated a World Heritage City by the UNESCO in 1994

Students per class: 10 max.

Duration: 3 week-course , 60 contact hours + cultural activities

Level in Spanish: A1 required.

Housing information

Ucoidiomas provides adult learners with the opportunity to enjoy a memorable experience by living in a Spanish home with a local family.

All home stays are located not far from school and offer glimpses of everyday life and easy access to city amenities. You can walk easily to school.

Homestays have been carefully selected by Ucoidiomas. You will be provided with three meals a day and laundry service once a week for the official duration of the program. Students will have their own room, fully equipped.

As part of the learning experience, living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding. You just have to remember to stay open-minded and flexible at all times. Take advantage and enjoy life in Cordoba.

For those students who prefer independent housing (pensions, hotels), they will be solely responsible for researching and reserving housing and paying all fees.
