INFN has opened three calls for post-doc positions to work on the KM3NeT neutrino telescope here in Bari.
You can find the calls (the English version is in the second parts of the documents) from here:
https://jobs.dsi.infn.it/index.php
- Call no. 24463, duration 2 years, mainly focussed on the laboratory activities for construction of KM3NeT
- Call no. 24464, duration 2 years, mainly focussed on detector calibration
- Call no. 24465, duration 2.5 years, mainly focussed on data analysis
These positions are of the so-called "junior" type, and the candidates are allowed to apply even before they get their Ph.D.
Applications are welcome from all over the world. The deadline for applications is 9 July and the selected candidates are expected to start their positions in fall (with some margins to tune the starting time).
In Bari we have set up a brand-new laboratory dedicated to KM3NeT, as part of the so-called PACK project, and we are preparing to enlarge this facility in a partnership with the local Polytechnic University in the next years. The neutrino telescope team has a tradition to be very active and very friendly.
