LIFE Innocereal EU holds monitoring meeting in Cordoba

On 19 December, the monitor of the European LIFE Innocereal EU project held a meeting with the beneficiaries of the initiative to learn about the progress of the project that has been made in the first year and a half since it was launched in July 2022.

During the meeting, held at the Rabanales pilot farm, the University of Cordoba, the Spanish Association for Conservation Agriculture Living Soils (AEACSV), the Andalusian Institute for Research and Training in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Organic Production (IFAPA), the European Conservation Agriculture Federation (ECAF), the Spanish Association of Cereal Technicians (AETC), Greenfield Technologies and Agrifood Communication presented their different lines of work and the progress achieved so far.

The initiative aims to develop innovative actions in soil management and the use of agrochemicals to improve the environmental, economic and social sustainability of soft wheat, durum wheat and barley production.

After the meeting, the participants visited the Cordoba farm to see in situ the work carried out in the area to develop and promote innovative actions in soil management and the use of agrochemicals.

The meeting ended with a visit to the Rabanales Experimental Farm.
