Biography

Degree in Economics and Business Studies (1985-1990) and Agricultural Engineering (1997-2013), both from the University of Cordoba. In 2018 he defends his doctoral thesis within the programme in Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Sustainable Rural Development Engineering, getting his PhD degree from the Universities of Cordoba and Seville.

With more than 30 years of work experience as an employee in the private sector, he has held positions of different levels of responsibility in the field of financial, commercial, and directive management.

Started his university teaching career in the academic year 2010/11, his research activity has focused on developing hydroeconomic models that help water management in contexts of scarcity.
